Description | The collection of Isidre Gurrea, classified in 1995, consists of 4,500 specimens (mainly invertebrates) from Catalonia and the rest of Spain, but also from a variety of other countries including Portugal, Morocco, Turkey, Norway, France, Belgium, England, Wales and the United States. Although there is a predominance of fossil echinoderms, this collection also contains invertebrates of all types. All geological epochs from the Palaeozoic to the Pliocene are represented. |
