Type locality

“...en los confines de las provincias de Barcelona y Tarragona”. The type locality has been specified in accordance with the collection data of the lectotype: “Plana Novella y Jacas de Sitges”.

 

Toponymic note and update

Plana Novella is a property in the municipality of Olivella; Jacas [Can Jacas] possibly refers to a country house in the municipality of Sant Pere de Ribes; province of Barcelona, Spain.
